The project targets the social need for enhancing intercultural dialogue and European identity protection by understanding cultural diversity. The project had the goal of raising awareness about these issues through documentary films and photos.<\/p>\n

The project encompasses two documentary films and two photo camps in Harghita County.<\/p>\n

In 2015 we realized the two documentary films and two photo camps, which show us, in a realistic way, the lifestyle, the habits, the traditions, the crafts and the coexistence with the locals of the Roma population in two villages.<\/p>\n

The general objective of the project was to encourage the cultural dialogue through the understanding of cultural diversity. The specific aims were to promote a better understanding of cultural diversity and to consolidate the intercultural dialogue, including the Roma minority culture.<\/p>\n

We reached these aims in an innovative way, by organizing documentary presentations and photo exhibitions followed by round table discussions in the villages where the documentaries are set: Cri\u0219eni and Ciucs\u00e2ngeorgiu.<\/p>\n

The project was realized within the framework of the Promotion of Diversity in Culture and Arts within European Cultural Heritage Program<\/a> and was funded by EEA Grants.<\/a><\/p>\n

Photo Camps<\/strong><\/p>\n

The photo camp in Ciucs\u00e2ngeorgiu was held between 26\u201329th October, while the camp from Atid village took place between 9 \u201312th November. The photographers invited to the camp in Ciucs\u00e2ngeorgiu included Zsigmond B\u00e1lint (T\u00eergu Mure\u0219), Gyula Both (T\u00eergu Mure\u0219), L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Attila Kov\u00e1cs (Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe), El\u0151d Erd\u00e9ly B\u00e1lint (Odorheiu Secuiesc), Hunor Magyari (Odorheiu Secuiesc), Vajk Istv\u00e1n Szigeti (Miercurea Ciuc). The photographers invited to the camp in Atid included Zsigmond B\u00e1lint (T\u00eergu Mure\u0219), Ede Tordai (T\u00eergu Mure\u0219), L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Incze (Miercurea Ciuc), Csongor Mikl\u00f3s (Miercurea Ciuc), Rafael T\u00f6r\u00f6k (Miercurea Ciuc) and B\u00e9la K\u00e1sa (Hungary). The artistic director of the photo camps was Gyula \u00c1d\u00e1m photographer.<\/p>\n

From the material of the photo camps we realized a calendar for the year 2016, postcards and photo exhibitions in the two villages. The documentaries were presented in these villages, the presentations being followed by professional round table discussion.<\/p>\n

The project closing event took place at the County Council on 8th April 2016, on the International Roma Day, with the presentation of the films and a photo exhibition, promoting the Roma ethnic heritage and Roma culture.<\/p>\n

The continuity of the project is assured through the films and photo exibitions which are presented from time to time in different communities at events all around the county and in other regions as well.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”CreArt” tab_id=”creart-projekt”][vc_single_image image=”805″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The name of the project:<\/strong> CreaArt (Network of Cities for Artistic Creation)<\/p>\n

The partners were from 14 cities of the following countries: Spain, Romania, Italy, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Portugal, Austria, Poland, Norway.<\/p>\n

Local partner:<\/strong> Harghita County Council<\/p>\n

The main objective of the project: Fostering cultural creativity in the European cities.<\/p>\n

In the course of the project period there was a series of activities aiming to urge creativity in the participant cities.<\/p>\n

Year by year, new participants and locations joined the largest artistic project in which Harghita County has been involved.<\/p>\n

The activities of the project included international conferences, worshops, internship programs, international consultancy, local and international exhibitions hosted by various galleries as well as public spaces.<\/p>\n

During the five years of the project period there was a large number of beneficiaries who took part in various local and international activities.<\/p>\n

L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Bot\u00e1r, a colleague of the Cultural Center of Harghita County, was the artistic consultant and coordinator of the project in Harghita county.<\/p>\n

Specific objective of the project: <\/strong><\/p>\n

– Enhancement and development of tourism in Harghita County through supporting the promovation of specific products realized in organizing the Early Music Festival.<\/p>\n

– Increasing the number of tourists visiting Harghita County, through taking part in a multi-ethnic and multicultural event, and assuring alternative attractions to the already existing traditional events.<\/p>\n

– Extending the tourist season through organizing events and assuring an alternative to spend their free time.<\/p>\n

To achieve the objectives of the project we realised promotional materials, events and the festival was represented at tourism fairs and exhibitions.<\/p>\n
