The breathtakingly beautiful Harghita County in Transylvania is amazing as an adventure hideaway, but it is great to visit with the family as well. Harghita County provides fun for everyone through the beauty of its nature, its safety and greatness as well as its traditional gastronomy. We invite everyone to enjoy the feeling of the region by visiting the county during the Harghita County Days. The center organizes a whole-week long series of events at Sumuleu Ciuc before the Pentecost. Thousands of pilgrims are heading for Harghita’s Șumuleu Ciuc, near the town of Miercurea Ciuc, to attend the largest Roman-Catholic pilgrimage in Central and Eastern Europe – the Pentecost procession to the Franciscan Monastery. The authorities want to include it in the UNESCO heritage.
